Review: Wounded by Erin R Flynn

Wounded by Erin R Flynn is book one of the In My Dreams series, and this book tells the story of Lily and Jasper.

Lily is at a gas station getting coffee the day Jasper saves her life. Literally. The homeless veteran crashes into the gunman about to put a bullet in her brains. For some unfathomable reason, she takes him home, cleans him up, gives him work, and lets him stay with her. He makes life so much easier, and more fun. Not sure she can go back to her life without him, Lily dreads the day Jasper decides to leave.

Except he doesn’t, and their story turns into a romance. And then she finds out his secret … he’s a werewolf. Wow, didn’t see that one coming. Lily has to decide if she can accept this secret or not.

He’s already healed so much of her broken heart. Will she let him do it forever?

The one downside to this book for paranormal enthusiasts, the paranormal part is pretty minor. The love story takes the lead, which is cool, just different.

If you like this one, there’s a whole series. You can check out the links below, or visit Erin R Flynn’s website. Each of these books is about a different heroine, so the fun isn’t contained to one romance.
