Review: Tarot: The Magician by Tim Kane

Tarot: The Magician is the thrilling story of Kassandra Troy, who finds a set of magical Tarot cards that can be used in real life. After meeting the Magician from the deck, Luke, she must figure out why the cards work how they do and how to stop the terrible things from happening.

Kassandra is a character with a lot of personal pain to overcome. She’s just moved to a new town where she knows no one after her father’s death. She’s lost in her own world, and sometimes the cards seem like the answer. And sometimes, they don’t.

I found the whole story to be unique and thrilling because author Tim Kane did such a good job with swirling together what was going to happen so that you’re never quite sure where Kassandra will end up next. As she journeys through the world of the magical Tarot cards, she must face truths she didn’t really want to hear if she’s going to save her family.
