Review: The Realms of the Gods by Tamora Pierce

The Realms of the Gods is book four in the Immortals quartet by Tamora Pierce, and Daine and Numair are in trouble again.

In a desperate fight with the Skinless, Daine and Numair are pulled over the veil to the realms of the gods by Daine’s minor god parents in an effort to protect her. She and Numair want to get back to their own world, but they’re going to have to travel the entire way across the realms of the gods to the dragon realms and hope they can get help.

As the last book in the series, this one ties up a few loose ends between Daine and Numair, Daine and Kitten, and the realm of Tortall in general. We really see Daine grow up a bit, but remember that this is a YA novel!

If you like this one, you can read the rest of the Immortals quartet here. This series follows the Song of the Lioness quartet in the Tortall universe. You can find the author’s website here. If you like this one, you can check out the Protector of the Small Quartet, which follows a hew heroine!
