Review: Paranormal Public by Maddy Edwards

Paranormal Public is book one in the series Paranormal Public by Maddy Edwards starring Charlotte Rollins and her friends at her new college.

Charlotte didn’t know she was magical. She didn’t believe her mother when she heard about powers. But the morning she wakes up at Paranormal Public, she believes. Except, she just can’t figure out how to do any of it herself. Befriending her spunky werewolf roommate and their otherwise outcast dark mage friend, Charlotte tries to find her own power by attending tutoring sessions with the fallen angel’s golden boy, Keller.

While trying to figure out a whole new world, Charlotte is also trying to figure out herself. She’s kind of an underdog character, rather than the blinding kick-butt lead we have come to know and love. She’s not the strongest or the toughest or even the smartest. But she perseveres, and that makes all the difference.

If you like this one, there’s a whole series to come! I’ve even heard of a spin off, so you can check all that out on author Maddy Edwards’s website.
