Review: Onyx by Jennifer L Armentrout

Onyx is book two in the Lux series by Jennifer L Armentrout following Katy and Daemon on their adventures.

After saving each other’s lives in the Arum attack, Daemon and Katy now have a connection. And this connection makes Katy a little more than human. Meeting another hybrid like herself, Katy starts to learn to defend herself and the Luxen she loves.

But the DoD is in town, and they’re watching closely. And then … Katy sees a girl that’s supposed to be dead. Everything the Luxen thought they knew about the DoD and the Luxen relationship to humans is about to change.

And through it all, Daemon is determined to do whatever it takes to prove to Katy that he really does love her, and its not just a byproduct of their new connection. Of course, she’ll have to trust him, and that may be the hardest thing yet.
