Review: Lady Knight by Tamora Pierce

Lady Knight is the fourth book in the Protector of the Small series by Tamora Pierce.

After her Ordeal of Knighthood, Lady Knight Keladry must continue to prove herself to the world. Now that there’s a war happening, she’s going to do it on the front lines. If she can ever get there.

Of course, she seems like she gets the dump duty. But in reality, she’s got a position of privilege with her two best friends Neal and Merrick as they command the refugee camp. But everything isn’t as simple as she wanted it to be. These are civilians, not soldiers.

Kel has to learn that sometimes, appearances aren’t everything. And sometimes, duty and honor may cost you everything.

If you like this series, the rest of the books are listed below. You can also find the two prequel series: Song of the Lioness and The Immortals. Or, check out the author’s website.
