Review: In the Hand of the Goddess by Tamora Pierce

In the Hand of the Goddess by Tamora Pierce is book two in the Song of the Lioness quartet and follows Alanna as she moves from being a page into her time as a squire.

PS: if you haven’t read the earlier books, do that now. Don’t read on, there may be spoilers for earlier books.

Now revealed as a female to Prince Jon, Alanna has become his squire and continues her journey towards knighthood. He is her best friend, and they’re united on their fight for good. Except, someone’s after him and Alanna isn’t about to let that go unpunished.

Book two contains war, magic, and a fight for her Prince’s very life that may just reveal all the secrets Alanna doesn’t want known.

You can read the rest of the Song of the Lioness series here… or on the author’s website.
