Review: Beyond the Veil by Quinn Loftis

Beyond the Veil by Quinn Loftis is book five of the Gray Wolves series. Now with witches, fairies, and werewolves, the supernatural world is larger than Jacque, Jen, and Sally would have ever guessed a few months ago before Fane moved in across the street.

PS: spoilers if you haven’t read earlier books in the series!

With the fall of the Serbian pack, one threat has been eliminated. But the Romanian wolves are finding that the Serbian alpha might have been the least of their worries. Desmonda, the witch, is hell bent on destroying everything the girls have come to love. The witch is looking for allies in unlikely places. Oh, and the Fates pay a visit to Jen to inform her of the price for her escape from death.

In this book, we get to know Peri the Fairy (Jen’s nickname) better and find out what she’s capable of. Having a powerful fairy on their side is a big bonus, but it also opens up the supernatural world. The wicked witch is also after the pack, and she’ll stop at nothing to take them down.

Author Quinn Loftis does a great job of weaving the witches, fairies, and various other supernatural species into her world of werewolves and true mates. As always, the catty wit and one-liners are abundant, and kept me smiling even through the chaos. The girls continue to show their loyalty, slowly opening up their inner circle to include the boys that stole their hearts and the couple of other females that prove themselves worth the effort.
